BIBLE 142 Biblical Archaeologist, September 1992 have raisedproblems for the biblical text. Overall,this is an excellent article, although more attention could have been devotedto archaeology Majorarticles have been revised and expandedin Eerdmans to include recent archaeologicaldiscoveries and to reflect American biblical scholarship.
